Find an EBT SNAP balance by logging into an account online and viewing a summary that includes a current account balance. Users can also call EBT customer service to get an EBT SNAP balance.
On the web, go to the USDA's SNAP accounts page, which provides a list of states. Find the appropriate state and click it to log into the EBT SNAP account. Users with no account can create one by entering the required information, followed by clicking the Submit icon. Once logged in, look for a link to the account summary or a view balance option.
Not all states are listed on the USDA website. If the appropriate state is not on the list, call that state's EBT customer service number. The USDA website also has a list of these phone numbers through a link to a PDF file called State Lines. Click it to view all U.S. states, including customer service phone numbers you can call to find out your EBT balance. The PDF file also has web links for each state, and when clicked, they may provide an alternate way to log into your account using an EBT card account number. Once logged in, there may be an option to check an EBT balance.
