Contact the Los Angeles Department of Public Social Services by calling the public access number for the subject listed on its website, such as the Child Care Hotline or Civil Rights Hotline, among others, as of December 2015. You can also call the Department of Public Social Services Customer Service Center as a single point of contact at the telephone numbers provided on the website. Customer Service Center hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
On the Customer Service Center Web page, you can find an office location and visit the office in person if you do not prefer to call. Use the Service Locator box on the right side of the page, enter your address, city or ZIP Code, and select the service you wish to access from the pull down menu, then click Find Services. The search results include a description of services available at that location and a map of where the office is located.
