The U.S. Air Force has a complete lodging directory for all inns on the Department of Defence Lodging website, at af.dodlodging.net/propertys/list.aspx. The directory lists 88 inns, as of 2015, along with the address, contact information, local and on base attractions, amenities and the types of quarters available. The inn listings also provide the location's longitude and latitude. Individuals can make a Department of Defence Lodging account to check availability of the lodgings and make reservations online.
The inns generally accept reservations up to 120 days in advance, depending on base occupancy. The lodgings are all managed by United States Armed Forces Services, which provides support to Air Force bases and base command staff. The Air Force inns have several types of quarters available including: general Visiting Quarters for civilians and airmen, Visiting Officer's Quarters, Visiting Airmen's Quarters, Temporary Lodging Facilities, and Distinguished Visitors Quarters for airmen and officers.
Some inns have pet-friendly temporary lodgings. Contact the inn's office directly to ask if they allow pets. The Air Force policy restricts pets to cats and dogs, and typically assesses an additional nominal lodging fee. There may be additional cleaning fees assessed if a pet damages furniture or decor in the room.
