Tennessee mug shots can be viewed online by visiting the state's jail and inmate directory page. The site offers a free search and will pull up state wide mug shots.
The PublicRecords.com site is managed by the Tennessee Department of Corrections and County Sheriff's office in each county of the state. Mug shots can be pulled up by either searching by inmate name or by an inmate's identification number. The state of Tennessee also offers a public search database online through Open-Public-Records.com that allows users to search Tennessee mug shots and other records. The public database is free and open to the public since 1957 when the Tennessee Public Records act was adopted.
