A directory of all United States representatives is posted on the official website of the U.S. House of Representatives. The names are listed in two ways: by last name and by state and district.
The House of Representatives, or simply the House, comprises one of the two chambers of the legislative branch of government. As of 2015, the U.S. Constitution mandates the election of only 435 representatives, which is relative to the total population size of the 50 states. The District of Columbia is also represented.
The directory of the House includes the name, political affiliation, phone number, committee assignment and room number in the main House office buildings, which can be in Cannon, Rayburn or Longworth. The 2015 index also lists the resident commissioner of Puerto Rico and the representatives of the other dependencies of the U.S. government, including Guam, Virgin Islands, Mariana Islands and American Samoa.
