Lists of United States congressman can be found on the House of Representatives and the Senate's websites. The website for Congress as a whole also has up-to-date lists and biographies for each member.
Govtrack lists both Senate and House of Representative committees such as finance, foreign relations, commerce, science and transportation for the Senate, and natural resources, science, space and technology, and education and the workforce for the House of Representatives. Joint committees include taxation, library and economic committees.
Each site lists specific information on a congressman concerning contact information, bills that they introduced, links to their websites and voting records and remarks made when Congress is in session. They also link to the site of the biographical directory of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, which detail specific information about how the congressman was elected, where they attended school and any achievements they made during their careers.
All of these directories are an important part of the government's infrastructure as they list phone numbers, addresses and websites that citizens from specific states or those concerned about certain bills or issues can use to reach out to congressman, schedule a visit to an office or register a stance to support an issue.
