On the same Web page, click on the Bookings – 24hrs or Bookings – 72 hrs link for a list of all individuals booked into the Chatham County jail within those time frames. Information provided for defendants booked into the jail includes their names, birth dates, arrest dates, bonds and charges. Mug shots are not provided. Search results are listed alphabetically.

Click on Jail ATM in the left sidebar of the Sheriff’s Office website for information on how to deposit money into an inmate’s commissary account. Each inmate deposit incurs a fee of $2.50, and funds may be transferred using a credit card, debit card or bank account.

Chatham County Jail inmates are allowed visitors two days a week via video. Visits last for 20 minutes, and persons under the age of 17 are not permitted to visit without an adult.
