The Mexican Embassy is located in Washington D.C. and there are 49 Mexican consulates in 25 states across the country and in Puerto Rico. The state with the largest number of Mexican consulates is California with 10, followed by Texas with nine, Arizona with five and Florida with two. A consulate is found in the states of Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah and Washington, according to the webpage.
