The Annual Services Survey provides estimates of revenue and other measures of traditional service industries. The following service sectors were included in the 2013 survey: utilities, administrative support, waste management, remediation services, transportation and warehousing. Other service sectors include educational services, information, health care, social assistance, finance and insurance, arts, entertainment and recreation, among others, excluding public administration. The survey data is used by a number of federal agencies, including the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
