To find the Cuyahoga County Clerk of Courts page, locate the Popular Items menu in the right column, and select Court Docket. Go over the Conditions of Use, and agree to the terms outlined on the page. Search civil and domestic or criminal cases using the menu on the left. Visitors have the option to perform a court of appeals search. All case types are searchable by using the case number or name of the defendant. To search by case number, enter the case year and number. To search by name, enter a name, date of birth, defendant ID, race and sex.

Due to federal law mandates, the Domestic Relations Court no longer offers information about domestic violence cases online as of 2015. Additionally, the Common Pleas Court division has prohibited online information regarding civil stalking protection order cases from being available via the Internet. To obtain additional information about one of these cases, visit the Clerk of Courts' offices at 1200 Ontario St., Cleveland, Ohio 44113, or call the Clerk's docket information line at 216-443-7950.
