Residents who wish to apply for or already receive some type of assistance from the state of Michigan can create a user ID on the MI Bridges website in order to apply or check on the status of their applications. In order to create a user ID before you have an active or pending case, applicants should choose the Applying for Health Care option or Apply for Multi-benefits option.
Michigan residents who already have a pending or active case should select View My Case and follow the prompted instructions to create a user ID. Anyone who forgets his user ID can contact his local Department of Health and Human Services office, which has the ability to look up a resident's user ID. An online account also allows residents to upload certain documentation regarding their applications, as well the ability to renew their benefits.
Other services available through the MI Bridges website include emergency services assistance, child care assistance, Medicaid and health care coverage for children.Learn more about Social Services
