To apply for SoonerCare, go to the OKHCA.org main page, select Enroll Online Now under Individuals, and click on Apply for Benefits. Agree to the terms of service, and create a user account so you can return to your application in case you are unable to finish it in one sitting. Provide information such as names, Social Security numbers, birth dates, citizenship information and health insurance information for everyone in your household. Enter the taxable income and employer information for everyone who earns income. Review the information, and submit the application.

To be eligible for SoonerCare, applicants must have limited incomes and be U.S. citizens or qualified aliens residing in Oklahoma. To apply online, they must be pregnant women, children 18 years old or younger, nondisabled adults with children, people age 19 or over in need of family planning services, or those needing behavioral health services. Applicants must have documentation to prove their personal information, income and eligibility status.
