Fort Lee provides many Advanced Individual Training (AIT) courses for soldiers to acquire the skills required for a diverse range of army specialties. These training courses focus not only on providing the hands-on training and field instruction required by soldiers to carry out their job but also instilling the work ethic and discipline level expected of the U.S. Army.
Fort Lee is located in Prince George county, Virginia, and is the headquarters of the Combined Arms Support Command (CASCOM). It is also the headquarters of the U.S. Army Quartermaster School, U.S. Army Ordnance School, U.S. Army Transportation School, Army Logistics University (ALU), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and the U.S. Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The fort is named for Confederate General Robert E. Lee.
