You can access Bureau of Labor Management mining claims information online at BLM.gov by clicking the Lands Record link under the Information Center heading on the left side of the home page. Mining claim data is accessible by clicking the LR2000 link, and then the More link associated with the Geographic Reports heading.

Scroll down the Geographic Reports page, and select a general help guide option under the Mining Claims heading. The three options include Find All of the Recently Closed Mining Claims, Get Detailed Info About a Mining Claim, and Find All the Active or Closed Mining Claims in a Township. The guides offer users step-by-step details about how to run a mining report.

Additional mining report help guides are located at the bottom of the page under the Use Mining Claim for Unpatented Mining Claims No Mineral Patents heading. The list includes a brief description of each report.
