When a user logs in to Fidelity NetBenefits using a computer, the user has full access to manage his 401(k) account. The system displays the current 401(k) account balances and provides a summary of the investment performance for each account. Users can view tables and charts that show a personal rate of return and compare the personal return to the average and cumulative returns of the funds during the ownership period. A user who is considering changing investment options can conduct research on the available funds to discover their average returns and compare fund performance to standard investment benchmarks. In addition to viewing account information, a user can make changes to his contribution percentage and change how future contributions are invested. Users can also transfer money between two investment accounts, called an "exchange," or transfer money among several investment accounts, called "rebalancing."
Fidelity provides mobile apps that users can download to access NetBenefits from a mobile device. However, the apps only enables users to view account balances and investment performance. They do not enable users to make changes to contribution rates, future investment options or account balances.Learn more about Social Services
