The UH-60 helicopter repairer 15T soldier is responsible for duties such as assisting in troubleshooting and diagnosing aircraft, readying aircraft for maintenance and inspecting the vehicles. They lubricate and service aircraft and their subsystems, and install and remove aircraft subsystems, which include transmissions, engines, mechanical flight controls, rotors and gearboxes. Soldiers interested in the 15T MOS must obtain a Mechanical Maintenance ASVAB score of 104. Training consists of 10 weeks of basic combat training and 15 weeks of advanced individual training, with time spent in the field and classroom.
