In each of the twenty-four counties of Maryland there is at least one senior center. For example, in Allegany County there are four locations: Cumberland Senior Center, Frostburg Senior Center, Westernport Community Center and George's Creek Senior Center. Talbot, Kent, and Garret Counties have only one center each: the Talbot County Senior Center, Amy Lynn Ferris Adult Activity Center and The Elkton Center. The highest number of centers can be found in Baltimore County, where there are twenty locations for seniors. The list includes Arbutus Senior Center, Bykota Senior Center, Cockeysville Senior Center, Victoy Villa Senior Center, and Woodlawn Senior Center. While there are fewer locations in Baltimore City, the thirteen listed easily can be accessed. Some of these centers include: Action in Maturity on Roland Avenue, the Senior Network of North Baltimore on York Road, the Edward A. Meyerberg Senior Center on Fallstaff Road, the Sandtown Winchester Senior Center on Baker Street and the Waxter Center for Senior Citizens on Cathedral Street.
