Volaris is the second largest airline in Mexico, offering domestic flights to more than 40 destinations, including Mexico City, Cancun and Tijuana. The airline also offers international flights between Mexico and more than 20 cities in the U.S., including Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas and Denver.
Customers are able to purchase airline tickets on the company website. Volaris has several options for making payments, including by credit card, debit card, Paypal and cash payments through convenience stores like 7-Eleven.
When purchasing Volaris tickets, passengers are able to add optional service packages for additional fees. The Basic Package allows passengers to carry two small bags on board and to check one bag up to 55 pounds.
The Business Package allows passengers to take an earlier or later flight to the same destination, on the same day, based on seat availability. The passenger is also able to change the name on the ticket up to four hours before the plane departs.
The Complete Package allows passengers to check two bags, change the name of the flier up to four hours before departure and provides an electronic credit of $100 if a flight is delayed for more than 30 minutes. Passengers are also able to choose any seat, except for the first row.
In flight, Volaris offers cocktails, food and beverages, pillows, blankets and special games and toys for an additional fee on each flight. Payments may be made in cash, using Mexican pesos or by credit card.
