The Woodrow Wilson rest stop, one of several along the New Jersey Turnpike, is accessed from northbound exit 7A. As of 2015, it includes a Sunoco Service Station, a travel mart, an ATM, restaurants, restrooms and wireless Internet access. Name brands include Quiznos, Pizza Hut Express and Starbucks.
The rest stop was named after the 28th president of the United States, who was also a New Jersey governor. The exact location is at milepost 58.7 between Interchanges 7 and 7A in Hamilton Township, Mercer County. Interchange 7A is known as Allentown-Trenton, which also has a toll plaza.
Exit 7A is also one exit away from the Interchange Park and Ride lot off of Interchange 8A. Parking permits are available on a daily or monthly basis for clients taking bus transit into New York City.
The closest hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn Hamilton, on the western side of the roadway. To the east is Hamilton Mall, which includes large stores such as Wal-Mart and Lowe's as well as Chase Bank, Bank of America and several smaller shops.
Additional restaurants near the exit include Ruby Tuesday, Cracker Barrel and brand name fast food outlets. Exit 7A to Interstate 195 east also leads to Six Flags Great Adventure & Safari in Jackson, New Jersey.
