What Are the Tourist Attractions in Sevierville, Tennessee?

Some of the most popular tourist attractions in Sevierville, Tennessee, include Adrenaline Park, the Forbidden Caverns, Rain Forest Adventures Discovery Zoo and the NASCAR Speed Park, as of 2015. The town is close enough to Pigeon Forge to make Dollywood and its adjacent water park a convenient day trip.

At Adrenaline Park, visitors can zip-line through the treetops and take a stroll on the glass-bottom Sky Bridge, which sits 300 feet above the French Broad River. High-speed jet boat rides are also available.

The Forbidden Caverns takes visitors under the Smoky Mountains into caverns that formed over millions of years. Tour guides lead guests on a well-lit path that follows an underground stream. Handrails make the journey easier as guests walk past stalactites, stalagmites and a half-hidden grotto.

Rain Forest Adventures features more than 130 animal species from temperate and tropical rain forests. Mammals include several species of lemurs, the African serval and African hedgehogs. Snakes, turtles, tortoises, crocodiles and lizards live in the reptile exhibits. Various frogs and toads represent the amphibians.

The NASCAR Speed Park offers eight race tracks, each geared towards specific age groups. The Baby Bristol is a 200-foot starter track suitable for children at least 40 inches tall. At the other end of the scale is the Smoky Mountains Speedway, where drivers must be at least 60 inches tall and have a valid driver's license. The cars are miniature versions of Sprint Cup cars, and although they don't go as fast, the driver actually has control of the vehicle.
