Since 1999, the USS Constellation finds her home at the Inner Harbor. The ship was commissioned in 1855 and decommissioned in 1933. During the USS Constellation's service, this ship helped block Southern ports in the Civil War and sailed to far reaches of the globe. Visitors can take an audio tour of the ship and explore the decks.
Located on Pier Three, the Lightship Chesapeake offers visitors the chance to explore a floating lighthouse. This boat features an exhibit on the canine companions that served with sailors on this ship and others.
The National Aquarium offers a variety of behind-the-scenes- tours for visitors to enjoy including an overnight immersion opportunity. As of 2015, the aquarium offers an exhibit called the "Living Seashore" where visitors touch stingrays, jellyfish and other sea creatures. Throughout the day, experts are on hand to answer tourists' questions and share their knowledge of the sea and sea life.
