The Lake St. Clair Metropark offers bird watching, windsurfing, kiteboarding, boating and several other activities. The park is close to Mt. Clemens, and it boasts a 1,600-foot boardwalk, one mile of shoreline, wetlands, a grove of cottonwood trees and hiking trails. There is a nature center, golf course and the Shipwreck Lagoon Adventure miniature golf course. The park is home to 230 species of birds.
