More than 60 small parks and open green spaces dot the area, accented by sculptured trash containers. Pathways lead through the town, perfect for relaxing self-guided tours.

Guided tours of the old and new capitol buildings must be made at least two weeks in advance. During March and April, when the legislature is in session, reservations must be made months in advance.
