Additionally, various locations of the Toronto Public Library generally offer a variety of activities, such as workshops, puppet shows and gaming days during spring break.
As of 2015, the Toronto Zoo offers visitors an opportunity to explore several tropical pavilions showcasing a variety of plants and animal species. Various camps and public programs are offered for children of all ages, and the zoo is open each day during spring break. For children who enjoy interactive learning opportunities, educational workshops on subjects such as dinosaurs and other science topics are offered at the Ontario Science Centre which is also open 364 days of the year.
During spring break, the Hockey Hall of fame is a great place for Hockey enthusiasts to visit. Kids can take part in activities such as pretending to be a news reporter at an imitation TSN sports news reporting desk or shooting a puck at animated versions of famous hockey athletes.
