At Terminal One, taxis are found outside of baggage claim, at east side exits 1 to 4. In the larger Terminal Three, taxis are just outside baggage claim on Level Zero. A total of 20 loading positions are available, 10 on the west end for domestic flights, and the rest on the east end for international passengers. Taxi dispatchers are on hand to assist in both terminals. Taxis are also available at the airport's car rental center.

All cab companies are governed by the Nevada Taxicab Authority. They regulate rates, handle service complaints and make sure that ordinances are followed. In Clark County, a taxi may transport no more than five passengers, no matter the size of the vehicle.

Not all taxi cabs accept credit cards, so the taxi dispatcher can assign a company that does if necessary. An additional fee for credit cards is charged for all airport pick-ups. As of 2015, the charge is $2.00 per fare.
