Sunwing Airlines allows each passenger one carry-on bag measuring no more than 23 x 40 x 51 centimeters (or 9 x 16 x 20 inches) and weighing no more than 5 kilograms at no additional charge. Carry-on bags that surpass these size and weight regulations are reclassified as checked baggage.
The combined length, width and height of checked baggage must be no more than 158 centimeters, and the bag must weigh no more than 20 kilograms. Sunwing Airlines reserves the right to reject any baggage that does not meet these specifications.
In order to prevent loss, damage, or delayed arrival, Sunwing Airlines recommends that passengers store their medications, important documents, electronics, cash, and jewelry in their carry-on luggage. The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority does not allow passengers to bring blades, explosives, flammables, tools, firearms, or other weapons in carry-on luggage. Liquids, gels, and aerosols may be kept in carry-on bags provided the total volume of each item is no more than 3.4 ounces. All liquids, gels and aerosols in a piece of carry-on luggage must fit into one clear, zipping, 1-liter plastic bag. Exceptions to this rule include baby food and drink, breast milk, medication, liquids or gels for diabetic passengers, and gel and ice packs needed for injuries, baby food and drink, or breast milk.
