From the home page, select the Schedules section of the website; it states "Schedules are subject to change." For the most up-to-date schedules, customers are advised to: check service status, use Trip Planner+ to plan a trip, sign up for free e-mail and text alerts, or call 511.

Clicking on MTA News, then Current News gives information on both extra services and reduced schedules for specific holidays.

On the home page, a section entitled Planned Services Changes includes notices of holiday services.

Holiday service changes may be featured as a news item in the moving graphic box in the center of the home page. The image in this box alternates between current news items every few seconds. It is possible to obtain more information on a particular news story by double clicking on the relevant image.

Holiday service information may also be accessed by typing "holiday services" into the search box at the top of the screen. However this may not give all the current relevant holiday service information, and much of the information in this section is out of date.
