Some KOA campgrounds in Florida include the Daytona Beach KOA in Port Orange, West Palm Beach, Lion Country Safari KOA in Loxahatchee and the Titusville, Kennedy Space Center KOA in Mims. Several KOA campgrounds are conveniently close to Disney World, including the Orlando South East, Lake Whippoorwill KOA in Orlando, the Orlando, Kissimmee KOA and the Orlando Southwest KOA in Davenport. RV, tent and rental cabin accommodations are offered at most campgrounds, as are extended stays.
The Daytona Beach KOA is close to the Daytona International Speedway and gets quite busy during the Daytona 500 in February and the Coke Zero 400 in July. It is also close to the sands of Daytona Beach, the Boardwalk, Adventure Landing Water Park and the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse.
The West Palm Beach, Lion Country Safari KOA is next door to the drive-through Lion Country Safari, close enough that guests may hear lions roar. Also nearby is the Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum.
The Titusville, Kennedy Space Center KOA is on the Florida mainland, almost directly across from the Canaveral National Seashore. It is convenient to the Kennedy Space Center, the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame and Space City USA. Cocoa Beach is just to the south, a favored surfing spot. This KOA does not offer extended stays.
Of all the Orlando area KOA parks, the Kissimmee location is one of the closest to Disney World, Epcot Center and Universal Studios. Lego Land, Sea World and the Wet and Wild water park are also nearby. This is another KOA that does not offer extended stays.
