The Help tab at the top of the Spirit website brings up a list of commonly asked questions. The question "How can I check in and get my boarding pass?" features information on how to check into a Spirit Airlines flight. Travelers can check into a flight online and print a boarding pass at no charge. Check-ins begin anywhere from 24 hours to one hour prior to departure. Travelers can also complete seat assignments and bag checks during check-in.

Travelers who are unable to check into a flight online can purchase boarding passes through a kiosk or customer service agent instead. Kiosks are self-serve, user-friendly and do not feature additional charges. Customer service agents, however, charge $10 to print the ticket and may require the traveler to wait in line.

Travelers can also book flights, hotels and car rentals from the Spirit website. Flights can be changed or canceled by clicking on the Manage Travel tab and entering the traveler's last name and confirmation number. The site also allows users to check the status of flights by destination or flight number.
