There are 192 campsites with 50-amp electric hookups and 20 full-service campsites with sewer, water and electric hookups at Salt Fork State Park, located north of Lore City in Guernsey County, Ohio. Campers can reserve campsites via the Ohio State Parks website or by phone. Some campsites may only be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Group camping and horsemen’s camping are available at Salt Fork State Park. Boaters may camp on their boats, but only within 50 yards of shore and in no-wake zones. Pets are only allowed on designated sites, and 18 of the campsites are wheelchair accessible. Salt Fork State Park is the largest state park in Ohio, and offers visitors and campers picnic shelters, cottages and a lodge, all of which are available by reservation.
There are a number of activities available to campers at Salt Lake State Park, such as archery, boating, fishing, golf and hunting. There are 14 scenic trails to hike within the park.
