To secure a window seat for an Alitalia flight, click a window seat on the seat map during the seat selection stage of the online booking procedure. The interactive seat map, which you access from the Passenger Details page, shows available seats in grey, while unavailable seats are colored red. As you click to reserve a seat, the color changes to green and the seat number appears next to the passenger's name.
If you have a return flight, click Next Flight to view the seat map for your return journey and repeat the seat selection process. If you change your mind about your initial seat selection, choose and click another seat to amend your selection. Click Proceed to Payment to complete the booking process. You can also select seats for any passenger you are booking with you. Alitalia cannot guarantee that passengers will retain their chosen seats, as the airline may need to reassign seats at the airport for operational reasons.
To help secure the best window seat, view seat maps and read user reviews for Alitalia flights on SeatGuru.com or SeatMaestro.com. Both sites use color-coding to indicate good and bad seats on each plane. You can also mouse over each seat on SeatGuru's seat plans to read a more detailed description.
