Oneworld is an alliance of airlines that came together to operate more than 14,000 daily flights all over the world. It was launched in 1999 when, at the time, its only members were American Airlines, British Airways, Canadian Airlines, Qantas and Cathay Pacific. Today, the alliance includes Japan Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qatar Airways and SriLankan Airlines, among many others.
