Choice Privilege points can be earned at participating hotels in the United States, Canada, Africa, Mexico, Central America, Europe, Australia, the Caribbean and the Middle East. Reservations can be made using the toll-free reservation express hotline, through the Choice Privileges website or directly through the hotel.

Members can earn points for up to two hotel rooms within the same hotel per night, as long as the rooms are in the members name and are paid in full. Any bonus points available are awarded only to one room.

If a room is discounted by 20 percent or more, no Choice points will be awarded to the member. Rooms that have been booked through a third party retailer or a travel agency are not eligible for reward points, and rooms that were paid for through part of a meeting or convention package do not receive any points.

Five to 10 points are awarded for each U.S. dollar that is spent on the room or rooms when staying at a participating hotel and the points are applied to the account after checking out.
