Jacks Hill is located in upper St. Andrew and has homes featured in MTV's show "Cribs." In the suburbs of Kingston, Norbrook is a prestigious neighborhood that boasts some of the most expensive homes in all of Jamaica. Other pricey Jamaican neighborhoods include Manor Park, Millsborough, Stony Hill and Smoky Vale. Residential areas such as Ocho Rios, Montego Bay and Tower Isle offer more affordable housing within a resort community.

Mandeville, with a population of 47,115 people, and May Pen, with a population of 44,755, are two of the largest residential areas in Jamaica. Old Harbour, Linstead and Half Way Tree are home to more than 18,000 people each.
