Full Answer

A number of different trains go to the Newark Airport Rail Station, as of 2015; both NJ Transit and Amtrak have trains that go to the Newark Airport Rail Station (AirTrain), so if you're confused about which train to take, ask a NJ Transit attendant or an Amtrak attendant to help you determine which ticket to buy.

A NJ Transit train ticket costs $12.50 for an adult and $8.75 for a child or senior, as of July 2015. Hold on to your NJ Transit train ticket, as it is your ticket for the Newark AirTrain, as well. The price is included in your initial purchase.

Be careful not to get off the train at Newark Penn Station. This is not correct. Make sure it is Newark Airport Rail Station; you might see signs for the Newark Airport AirTrain.

The Newark Airport AirTrain makes stops at all of the terminals and each of the airport parking lots.
