Hudson River Islands State Park is located on two islands in Schodack Landing. The park can only be reached by boat. Jones Beach National Park is located along 6.5 miles of Atlantic Ocean shoreline in Wantagh. Harriman State Park in Stony Point has more than 200 miles of trails for hiking, plus three beaches and 31 lakes and reservoirs.
