Exit 54 is a connection with I-595, which leads the driver to Fort Lauderdale International Airport. Drivers use exits 251 and 254 to go to Orlando International Airport. Exit 259, also in Orlando, connects with Interstate 4, which is important for drivers headed for Tampa. Exit 304 in Wildwood is the northernmost exit of Florida's Turnpike, before the highway merges with Interstate 75.
Exit 1, in Florida City, is the southernmost exit of Florida's Turnpike and the only time the turnpike connects to U.S. Route 1. Exit 26 connects to State Route 836, which leads to Miami International Airport. Exit 39 connects to the southern end of Interstate 75, which leads to Fort Myers and Tampa before connecting with Florida's Turnpike at its northern end.
