The Sears Tower, Magnificent Mile, Millennium Park, John Hancock Center and the Field Museum of Natural History are some of the most popular Chicago tourist attractions. Classical music lovers flock to the world-famous Chicago Symphony Orchestra. Along with special ethnic varieties, many Chicago restaurants offer the famous native-born Chicago-style pizza.
The Sears Tower, renamed the Willis Tower in 2009, is the tallest building in Chicago and one of the tallest buildings in the world. The tower boasts 110 floors and holds approximately 4.56 million gross square feet within itself. The Skydeck on the 103rd floor offers visitors a stunning, 1,353-foot-high view of the city, and even possible glimpses of up to four states. It also contains interactive exhibits.
Millennium Park is home to a famous bean-shaped structure that is known officially as Cloud Gate, but is more popularly known as The Bean. Its reflective covering makes it a popular selfie backdrop. The park's Crown Fountain projects facial images of the city's residents, and its Jay Pritzker Pavilion offers a 120-foot high concert venue with 4,000 seats and additional space for another 7,000 visitors on the Great Lawn. The Grant Park Music Festival and other events take place at this location.
