Varadero is a narrow 12-mile spit of land in the north of Cuba bordered by white sand beaches. Most of the hotels offered in the all-inclusive packages are either beach-front resorts or resorts located within a short walk of the beach. Hotels include family-friendly brands, such as Breezes, Iberostar and Barcelo, and couples-only resorts such as Sandals and Meliã. The larger all-inclusive hotels offer guests a choice of restaurants and bars, as well as a range of daily activities, such as dance lessons, aqua gym and bingo. Sports facilities such as fitness centers, tennis courts and table tennis tables are included, as well as evening entertainment and kids clubs.
Typical accommodations in four- and five-star hotels include one king bed or two double beds and a balcony or veranda with a sea or pool view. A bathroom, mini-bar, safety deposit box and hair dryer are also included.Learn more about Geography
