Beavers Bend State Park, Greenleaf State Park and Great Salt Plains State Park are Oklahoma parks that offer cabins for rent. These three feature a range of styles, ranging from Beavers Bend's traditional woodlands feel, to Greenleaf's historical atmosphere, to the Western inspiration of Great Salt Plains park.
One of Oklahoma's most popular parks, Beavers Bend lies in the southeast area just north of Broken Bow. As of October 2015, it offers 47 cabins, accommodating intimate parties of two or groups of up to six. Pet owners can choose from a selection of pet-friendly cabins, and some feature fireplaces. All cabins at Beavers Bend contain small kitchens with refrigerators and stoves.
Greenleaf, near Braggs, Oklahoma, rents 15 cabins, including one that is handicap accessible. In the 1930s, the Works Progress Administration built each cabin from local stones and pine, but they now also include kitchens, bathrooms, satellite television, air conditioning and heating for modern travelers.
The surroundings complement the camping at the Great Salt Plains park, near Jet, Oklahoma. Simple, eco-friendly cabins with one bed and Energy-star-rated appliances keep travelers comfortable at night. During the day, visitors can visit the neighboring wildlife refuge to dig for rare hourglass selenite crystals or catch glimpses of rare birds.
