As of August 2015, consumers are able to print Butterfly Wonderland coupons from the Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau's website. On the page for the attraction, click on the Packages and Coupons link. On the following page, select Print Offer.
Butterfly Wonderland provides ticket discounts without coupons, as well. Tickets for children ages three through 11 are significantly less than adult tickets. Senior citizens 62 and over, students and military personnel save a bit off the regular price. Children two and younger receive free admission. Butterfly Wonderland offers similar discounts for annual memberships.
Butterfly Wonderland is in Scottsdale, Arizona, inside the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. The attraction offers visitors both live and virtual experiences. For instance, the indoor rainforest atrium is the largest in the United States. Visitors walk among tropical plants and flowers, mingling with over 3,000 butterflies. At the Butterfly Emergence Gallery, people watch chrysalises transform into butterflies.
Visitors see real scorpions, spiders, walking sticks and other local creatures in the Insects of the Desert exhibit. The Honey Bee Extravaganza provides a view of an actual working bee colony. These insects pollinate the flowers around Wonderland. In addition, the theater shows a short 3-D film about butterflies' lives.
