As of 2015, Norwegian Cruise Lines has a fleet of 14 ships, some of which are named Breakaway, Dawn, Epic, Escape, Gem, Getaway and Jade. The remaining ships in the fleet are Jewel, Pearl, Sky, Spirit, Star, Sun and Pride of America.
The Norwegian Escape is the largest ship in the fleet, accommodating 4,248 guests. The Norwegian Sun is the smallest, accommodating 1,936 guests. The Norwegian cruise line has the youngest fleet at sea among major North American cruise lines. The oldest ship in the fleet is the Norwegian Spirit, built in 1998. The Norwegian Getaway, built in 2014, is the newest. Norwegian Cruise Lines has built or refurbished 11 of its 14 cruise ships since 2010.
