Delta Airlines charges passengers within the United States and Canada, including the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, $100 each direction for bags that weigh between 51 and 70 pounds. Bags weighing between 71 and 100 pounds, the maximum allowed cost passengers $200 each way.

International passengers traveling between the Americas and Europe or North Africa are limited to bags weighing between 51 and 70 pounds and are charged $100 USD each way. Those traveling to or within Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean, excluding Brazil, are charged $75 each way for bags between 51 and 70 pounds and $200 each way for bags between 71 and 100 pounds. All charges are per bag.
