Aruba's low period for tourism is typically the months of June to August. Low rates during stretches of fair weather during this period may attract just as many visitors as in the other seasons, however.
Aruba's major festivals, including Carnival and the Christmas holidays, fall outside the summer months, so there is generally less tourism and rates are lower. Although summers are relatively hotter and more humid than the other seasons, Aruba is more temperate than other areas of the Caribbean, with an average summer temperature of around 90 degrees and relatively little rain. Some resorts may use the summer months for minor renovations and have more limited amenities, but outright closures are unlikely.
