Megabus has a tool on its website that gives detailed descriptions of its stop locations in each city that it serves. The company does not have its own stations, and stops are usually located outside.
To get a description of a city's Megabus stop locations, visit the Megabus website, and click on the Bus Stops tab. A user can then choose a point of departure from any city that Megabus services. Once the departure city is chosen, a list of possible arrival cities becomes available. Once the arrival and departure cities are chosen, the website displays stop information for each.
Megabus does not have stations like Greyhound does. Its stops are often in or near existing transit hubs. For example, in San Francisco the stop is adjacent to the 4th and King Caltrain Station, and in Los Angeles, the buses stop at Union Station's Patsaouras Transit Plaza.
Some Megabus stops do not have signage indicating their location. However, Megabus staff wearing company safety vests to identify themselves are present at the stops as early as an hour before the departure time of each bus. Staff usually approach people who are waiting in the area to inquire if they are waiting for Megabus and assist them with boarding information and instructions if they are.
