Margaritaville Vacation Club is a resort inspired by Jimmy Buffett's music and lifestyle and is located on Water Bay on the eastern end of St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The resort is a vacation club managed by Wyndham.
Margaritaville in St. Thomas offers many amenities to its guests, including an outdoor pool and hot tub. The beach is filled with hammocks and Adirondack chairs for lounging. Dining options at Margaritaville include the Margaritaville restaurant and a bar called 5 O'Clock Somewhere.
There are one, two and three-room suites at the resort, each with a fully equipped kitchen that includes a frozen concoction maker for making frozen margaritas and daiquiris. Each suite also has an outdoor lounging area.
Near the resort, guests can experience duty-free shopping in Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie. There is golfing available at the Mahogany Run course. The 99 Steps of Charlotte Amalie are a popular tourist attraction, as are Blackbeard's Castle and Bluebeard's Castle.
Margaritaville is part of Wyndham's vacation club line. Guests pay a fee to Wyndham and can vacation at different resorts each year. There is an additional Wyndham-managed Margaritaville vacation club location in Puerto Rico.
Traditional hotel stays are also available from the Margaritaville resort line. In Florida, there are resorts in Pensacola, Orlando and Hollywood Beach. There are additional resorts in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and Bossier City, Louisiana.
