Where on the Map Does Santa Claus Live?

Santa Claus, as he is known in popular culture, is believed to live at the North Pole. The North Pole is the northern-most point on Earth. The North Pole is at latitude 90 degrees North and longitude 0 degrees West.

The home of Santa Claus is not actually visible on any map, as there is no permanent land at the sight. There is, however, a floating Arctic ice sheet. The North Pole is situated between Greenland and Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago. The first mention of the North Pole as Santa Claus’ home was in the 1822 poem “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
