Busch Gardens is an amusement and adventure park with an African theme. The 335-acre park has thrill rides, numerous natural habitats containing exotic wildlife, live music and craft performances. Rides include a 335-foot drop on Falcon's Fury, the Cheetah Hunt triple-launch roller coaster, SheiKra the floorless diving coaster and the inverted Montu roller coaster. The park also has exclusive wildlife experiences, including the Serengeti Safari and a behind the scenes tour of the animal care center.
The Florida Aquarium is rated as one of the five top kid-friendly aquariums in America by Parents Magazine, as of 2015. The aquarium has numerous exhibits, including its Wetlands Trail, Bays and Beaches, Coral Reef, Journey to Madagascar and Ocean Commotion displays. The facility also has a large aquatic play area for children and wild dolphin cruises into Tampa Bay.
The wildlife sanctuary at Big Cat Sanctuary is home to hundreds of unique animals from around the world, including snow leopards, Geoffry cats, caracals, clouded leopards and servals.
