As of 2015, there are a number of lounges in Dubai International Airport, including Ahlan Lounge, ALMAJLIS Lounge, the Dubai International Business Class Lounge, the Emirates Business Lounge and the Emirates First Class Lounge. Other lounges include the Marhaba Lounge, Special Handling Lounge and the Unaccompanied Minor Lounge.
Other available lounges at Dubai’s airports are airline lounges, accessible by invitation only. Many airlines run their own lounges for travelers with membership cards or travelers holding qualifying tickets. As of 2015, Emirates has first- and business-class lounges at gates A1, A24 and B16. The Lufthansa lounge is near gate C26. The Gulf Air lounge is near gate C20. The British Airways lounge is near gate C22. The Air France lounge is near gate C20. The KLM lounge is also near gate C20.
Dubai International Airport is the primary airport serving Dubai and the rest of the United Arab Emirates. The airport is located in the Al Garhoud district. The Dubai Airports Company operates the airport, which is home to international airlines Emirates and low-cost carrier flydubai. The Dubai International Airport Emirates hub is the largest airline hub in the Middle East. Emirates SkyCargo also has a base at Dubai International Airport, as does Quantas, an Australian airline that uses the airport as a secondary hub for European flights.
