Elizabeth Arden opened the first Red Door Spa on Fifth Avenue in New York City in 1910. The beauty innovator created a line of scientifically formulated skin care products and cosmetics that are designed to benefit the skin's health and appearance. Elizabeth Arden innovations include the first travel-size products and the first salon “makeovers.” Arden also invented a red lipstick specifically designed to go with women's military uniforms during World War II.
The Red Door brand of skin care, hair care, nail care and other beauty products is available at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salons.
